you know,i always just kinda liked this song growing up. i really liked house music but this song was just more on the lovey dovey side. i liked race cars, mortal kombat, and breakdancing, that kinda energy before. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? after college and i started getting back into the club and rave scene, this one night, i was fucking rolling balls off 5 green dolphins surrounded by 20,000 people and they were playing this song, and the dj cut the instrumental and in unison everyone sang "YOU GOT TO SHOOOOOW ME LUH-UV!" and it ALL MADE SENSE!!!! so now, every time i hear this song, i practically break down and cry tears of joy, at least on the inside... true story yo...

ooh, haven't done a movie review dilly for a long time, and i should, cause i got ridiculous lists that you should be peeping. anyways, here's "shan kou" a.k.a. "the beasts" a.k.a. "flesh and bloody terror." it's the best 80s asian horror/exploitation i've seen in awhile.

quick plot: Five teenagers head into the woods on a camping trip and are stalked and terrorized by five locals who rape one of the girls and brutally murder her brother.The girl is so traumatized by her horrifying experience that she is sent to a mental hospital and is unable to testify at the trial,leading the judge to release the men for lack for evidence.The angry father of the insane girl and murdered boy goes to the woods and kills rapist killers one by one via homemade traps.
