ya ya ya, not so bad for a thursday night. it was the first time that rumspringa had played the roxy too. the Haim sisters, myspace.com/wearehaim, were the opening act. they're funtimes and super cute. they're LACHSA kids too woot woot. este, the eldest, went to school at the same time as jojo itaru and i, so i had fun heckling her from the crowd. i shoulda taken pictures of them, i was to busy drinking and wasn't thinking about it.
anyways, i continued on with the heckling when rumspringa came on. they had a good set. it had been a long while since they had played here in america, and its about to be another month before they play again, which will be at sunset junction. so when, joey asked the crowd, "do you wanna hear our new song?" i yelled, "noooooooooo i don't wanna hear your new song!" and i got a lot of dirty looks. so jokes. anyways. rumspringa had a good show despite the first song starting off with itaru losing his drum stick and joey breaking a string. they had the biggest crowd compared to robert francis, who was the headliner, and i can only imagine that they will continue to attract and bring in larger crowds. oh ya, pray for the homey itaru the drummer, he's off to spain for the next few weeks.
