so i spent the day with best bud joey stevens of rumspringa in the dopest low key all analogue studio run by manny nieto. i only got these two pictures cause, well, i forgot to take more. manny's shit is tight. he's got a good ear, rewinds, pushing faders, detecting all crackles and warbles, then being able to isolate and fix em. some of the people he's recorded are mars volta, 400 blows, circle jerks, darker my love, she wants revenge, the pity party, aztlan underground and the breeders. i'm telling you this rumspringa album is gonna be some heavy shit. in the upper picture, theres manny, joey, and shane. shane is also tight. he's manny's pro tools technician and he's about to be working on los lobos' new album. fun times. i need to take pictures of the drawings that we were doing while we were posting during the mix sessions. most of them included american psycho cartoons of christian bale and lowrider showgirls vs. manny. i will go back to get them.
