ughhh, i just finished watching Martyrs. my favorite horror is french horror and this is on some way out other shit. it's really hard to watch. really hard to watch. it has all the regular gore family slaughter stuff and even creepy smeagol type characters but what really makes this movie different is the torture. i find movies like Saw, Hostel, and Turistas pretty fuckin funny, but this movie was not funny at all. i think the reviews on rotten tomatoes offer accurate descriptions of the movie. if you want to see more serious horror, go for this movie.
